Introduction

In the Molecular Medicine master’s program, it is aimed to train students with the potential to understand and apply molecular genetics and biotechnological methods, which form the basis of current approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. In this context, it is aimed that students gain a general knowledge and understanding in the field of molecular medicine and gain experience in the application of scientific research methods based on new generation technologies from the perspective of molecular biology science. Since scientists trained in the field of Molecular Medicine may need to use and interpret different disciplines such as cell biology, molecular genetics, statistics, chemistry and antibody engineering in their studies, it is aimed to train them in a way that allows them to follow interdisciplinary developments and develop new approaches to solving disease-related problems. Graduates with the education received within the scope of the Molecular Medicine Master’s program will contribute to the qualified researcher and academic staff in our country. Education is given in the graduate classrooms and laboratories of Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Molecular Medicine. The language of education is Turkish, and foreign students can participate in the program.
