Introduction

The Social Work Master’s Program aims to educate social workers (social workers) who are professional social workers with the necessary training to plan, organize and carry out the programs related to the purposeful social services.

Social Work opened by İstanbul Aydın University Health Sciences Institute The MASTER’S PROGRAM WITH DEGREE AND NON-THESIS will present the following contributions;

– Contributing to the fulfillment of the need for human power in the field of social services, which will work in specific areas where expertise is required, and can make effective social service / work intervention,

– To ensure that employees in the field of social services acquire vocational knowledge and skills and renew their knowledge of the profession,- To meet the mandatory graduate level training needs of “supervisors” who supervise and direct the knowledge of students who are engaged in social work / work practice or inexperienced social work specialists / social workers.

Career Opportunities

Demand for social workers in Turkey is very high. They are to be employed in social services and social projects/programmes. Our graduates will have a chance to work as social workers in various fields such as child welfare, family welfare, forensic settings, hospitals, and psychiatric clinics, elderly welfare, disability services, industrial areas. They are also engages in alleviating poverty and working in social assistance programmes, implementing community and social projects supported by the Government and/or NGO’s and work in some international organisations such as UN, EU etc.
