Introduction

Istanbul Aydin University Faculty of Medicine English Program was established in 2019 and undergraduate students started to be accepted in the 2020-2021 academic year.

The University started to admit students to the Faculty of Medicine, after the decision taken at the General Assembly of Higher Education dated 12.05.2016.

When the six-year curriculum of Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Medicine is completed, a Medical Doctor (MD) degree is obtained. Mandatory core courses at the Faculty of Medicine include a 3-year preliminary internship in basic sciences in the first three years and a 2-year basic clinical internship in the fourth and fifth years, followed by an internship (intern) in the sixth year.

The language of instruction is English.

The Faculty of Medicine curriculum is designed to train the next generation of physicians as medical professionals prepared to adapt to changing medical practices where digital health technologies and precision medicine are increasingly transforming healthcare.
